Regarding Donations of Overseas Produced Food Items for Tohoku - Pacific Ocean Earthquake Disaster Relief
We have been unable to check food allergy information on package labels of some overseas food items, as they are written in foreign languages. Unfortunately, we cannot ship them to the affected areas in consideration of babies and people with sensitivities and allergies.
Also shipping food items to Japan in bulk could cause the delay of the arrival of your donations, as it generally requires more rigorous investigations at the Customs.
We would like to receive your donations in a swifter manner and very much appreciate if those living in overseas could make financial contributions or send non-food items (daily necessities) to support our disaster relief efforts.
